Pig Roast

The PIG ROAST & CAR SHOW is a wonderful day at Mill Pond Park. By 8:00 the participants begin to arrive and pick up their registration materials. Some drop by the food area for rolls, coffee or biscuits and gravy and then return to detail their cars. By 10:00, the first raffle drawing is being called and the games are under way, soon followed by the Woody Nationals. After getting a hot dog, people finish up voting till noon when the first 50/50 drawing takes place. Around 1:30 the Pig has arrived and dinner is served. The menu for the day is pork, salad, corn, beans, garnish and drinks. By 2:30 everyone gathers for the final raffle drawing and the second 50/50 drawing. Soon it’s time for the arrival of Miss Piggy and the 60+ awards to be handed out and participants to gather their things and receive their parting gift from the club members and travel safely home.
